Woodstock Town Square, Woodstock OX20 1SL
Late August Bank Holiday weekend, August 24th and 25th
This year's celebration of live music in Woodstock, Oxfordshire, will see twenty artists/bands appearing on stage in the Town Square over the Saturday and Sunday of the August Bank Holiday, August 24thand 25th, with live music from 1pm – 10pm on both days. A significant feature of 'Woodstock Live' is the diverse and eclectic nature of the artists.
Offering a wide variety of musical genres, there is music to suit all tastes – the unusual and the familiar, some of the artists you will know and some you won’t – and it's all for free in Woodstock’s historic Town Square with bars and restaurants spilling out on to the streets to enjoy the weekend.
Chairs and tables laid out on the town square create a relaxed, chilled atmosphere reminiscent of Europe’s café culture, where real ales, chilled wines, lagers and soft drinks will be offered. Profits from sales go towards the cost of staging and promoting the festival. Whilst you are here, why not check out the town... individual shops, great bars and restaurants, superb hotels and b&bs... there is always something going on, see www.wakeuptowoodstock.com for other events.
