The famous actor Sir John Mills is seen here in the late 60s opening Aynho Fete in Northamptonshire. John Mills was famous for his performances in amongst others 'Ice Cold in Alex' and Ryan's Daughter (for which he gained an oscar). He was also an accomplished photographer with a keen eye for a picture. At the time these pictures were taken he lived locally. |
