Musical notes are in the spring air with some of the industry’s finest artists being paid tribute to over the coming weeks alongside original much-loved bands at Aylesbury Waterside Theatre. From pop songs to rock songs and even some musical theatre classics, there is something for every live music lover this spring.

Direct from London’s West End, Fastlove (Wed 22 May) presents a tribute to George Michael with favourite songs including Freedom and Faith to name just a couple
Musical lovers will not be disappointed when The Barricade Boys (Fri 24 May) arrive. Showcasing four of the UK’s finest male voices complete with breath-taking harmonies, the show features songs from many of the best-loved musicals from the West End and Broadway. As seen on ITV’s This Morning and The Paul O’Grady Show, The Barricade Boys are quickly securing their place as theatre land’s newest and most exciting male vocal group. Between them they have played nearly every major role in musical theatre from The Phantom of The Opera, Wicked and Billy Elliot to Jersey Boys, The Sound Of Music and of course Les Misérables!
For a visual treat do not miss The Simon and Garfunkel Story (Thu 30 May). The show uses original film footage with projection promising the ultimate nostalgic evening.
As part of their 40th-anniversary celebrations, UB40 are embarking on a UK tour stopping by Aylesbury on Tue 21 May. One of the most successful British groups of all-time,UB40 will showcase songs from new album For The Many alongside many of their UK Top 10 hit singles including Kingston Town, Food For Thought, One In Ten, Don’t Break My Heart and Sing Our Own Song and, of course, Red, Red Wine, amongst other fan favourites.
