NEW FOOD & DRINK FESTIVAL

& VILLAGE FÊTE IN NORTH OXFORDSHIRE

For lovers of all things foodie, put Sunday 30th September in your diary and visit the new Manor Festival of Food & Drink and Village Fête to be held at the Manor Country House Hotel at Weston on the Green. Located in the grounds of this historic and imposing Manor House hotel, the local community from Weston on the Green will also be holding traditional games to raise money for the village hall and church. The event runs from 11 am to 4 pm and promises to offer something for the whole family.

Organisers of the event are pleased to have brought together an eclectic mix of Artisan Food and Drink producers from around Oxfordshire. There will be a selection of stalls ranging from Well Preserved selling a selection of handmade jams, marmalades and chutneys. Jeanette Howse first started making jams, marmalades and chutneys over 30 years ago to raise money for Didcot Events. Since then she has won several UK Taste Awards for her produce which she sells at food festivals, delis and farm shops around the county.

In addition to the selection of food and drink exhibitors, there are several craft stalls selling jewellery, Shaker style wood and tin Christmas decorations, hats, cards and stationery. With more stall holders signing up each day, as interest in this event gathers momentum, you are sure to find something special to take home with you.
