Northend, Warwickshire, Sunday 30th June 2019, 11.00am to 5.00pm, Cost: £5 for adults – accompanied under 16s free.
Nestled at the foot of the Burton Dassett Country Park, Northend opens its village gardens to the public on June 30. From the splendour of the gardens at The Manor House to the quaintness of a small cottage garden, there is something for everyone. This year some gardens also offer some captivating demonstrations of bee keeping and gemstone cutting as well as a pebble-painting workshop for the youngest visitors.
The day starts at 11:00 from the Village Hall, where visitors buy their entry tickets with the brochure. Eleven gardens will be open and our hospitable hosts might keep you busy all day.
In the village hall we will do our best to live up to our reputation of “the best Open Garden catering experience in the region” with refreshments served throughout the day: teas and coffees with home-baked cakes, light lunches with gluten free options and afternoon tea with Prosecco, if you are tempted. A selection of plants from local nurseries will also be on sale.
The Village Hall is proud to
welcome again the professional string ensemble, Leos Strings, to perform some
entertaining live music, which receive great compliments year on year.
All proceeds go to the upkeep of the Burton Dassett Village Hall, registered charity number 22115.11ae1000000
