Lovers of prosecco and gin can come together to enjoy their favourite tipples in style as the first touring prosecco and gin festival announces that it will be stopping off in High Wycombe for the first time ever.
Following several very successful events in the north of England earlier this spring, event organisers have made the decision to travel south and are excited to announce that they will be at the Wycombe Swan Theatre, Old Town Hall in High Wycombe on Saturday 7th July.
The one-day High Wycombe event will be the first festival of its kind to visit the area and is ideally located close to the town centre – making this the perfect summer treat and an excuse to celebrate the nations favourite beverages with family and friends.
The festival promises over 40 carefully selected gins and a large selection of sparkling wines and prosecco varieties to choose from, as well as a cocktail bar dedicated to bringing the two tipples together.
Organisers for the Prosecco and Gin Festival, say: “We are very excited to be visiting High Wycombe this summer – we really feel that our event will be a great addition to the town’s summer line-up.
“We have taken a lot of time to put together our gin, prosecco and sparkling wine selection to ensure that there is something for everyone at our events. We do also provide a range of soft drinks and beers too. On top of the drinks, we will have live music and a free sample or two from our guest distillers.
“This is an exciting new event which combines two of the nation’s favourite drinks under one roof, however, we don’t anticipate tickets hanging around for very long, with some of our past events selling out very quickly, so we’d advise anyone interested in attending to book as early as possible to avoid disappointment.”
Guests will be welcomed with a free branded balloon gin glass which is theirs to take home with them. The standard ticket price also includes a free drink token which can be exchanged at any of the event bars for a gin and tonic or glass of fizz, plus and event guide containing tasting notes, serving tips and cocktail recipes to take home with them.
The Prosecco and Gin Festival will be visiting towns and cities up and down the country – including Sheffield, Carlisle and York.
Each bar at the Prosecco and Gin Festival will work on a token basis. Tokens can be purchased in advance (ideal if you are looking to buy tickets as a gift) or at the designated token point at the venue. Tokens are priced at £5 each and can be exchanged for any drink.
Standard tickets are priced at £15.50 and include a free drink, a branded glass to take home, tasting tips and recipe booklet, plus full access to the event and entertainment.
Alternatively, guests can purchase tickets for £29.50 which includes a standard entry ticket and three additional drinks tokens.
Tickets are on sale now and can be booked by visiting the website www.proseccoandginfestival.co.uk
