WORKS BEGIN ON £20M DISTRIBUTION/WAREHOUSE

FACILITY IN BANBURY

Paloma Capital LLP (Paloma) www.palomacapital.com and Graftongate Properties (Graftongate) www.graftongate.com have started works on the extensive refurbishment of the 200,000 sq ft former Jacobs Douwe Egberts (JDE) distribution centre, which sits on a 13.7 acre site in Banbury.

Avison Young and White Commercial are currently marketing the premises looking for potential occupiers. The distribution centre will be available for occupation from June 2019, located just off junction 11 of the M40 motorway, and adjacent to the newly completed Waitrose foodstore and JDE’s manufacturing facility.

Jamie Hockaday, Director at Graftongate says “We are delighted to have begun construction works on what is a significant investment to modernise the distribution premises, previously occupied by DHL and Aston Martin. We are seeing a good deal of growth and interest from the logistics operators wishing to locate in the centre of England of the London to Birmingham M40.”
