These astonishing pictures were sent to us by Robert Jenkins of Banbury. They show the devastating fire that swept through Clarke's flour mill in 1992. Mr Jenkins lived on Bankside in Banbury at the time and noticed the vast plumes of smoke rising from the east of the town. The fire caused over £2million of damage and mercifully there were no injuries to either the 100 firemen called in todeal with the conflagration or the 15 employees.
