This wonderful old Oxfordshire/Warwickshire character was Theodore Lamb, recluse and hermit from Sibford Gower, near Banbury. Theodore was a kind hearted quaker who travelled to Banbury from his home on an old bicycle with no tyres. For a penny, Theodore would play a record on his old wind up gramophone - for tuppence, the record would not be scratched! See more of Theodore in Four Shires Archives - March 2004 |
