The Town Mayor’s St. George’s Day Sing-a-long Tea Dance with Johnny “H”

The Town Mayor of Banbury, Councillor Tina Wren, invites you to attend her forthcoming St. George’s Day Tea Dance on Friday 23rd April, between 2.30pm and 4.30pm.  Doors open at 2.00pm.
Tickets cost just £5.00 each to include a light tea.   Come and celebrate St. George’s Day (flags supplied) and enjoy listening to traditional songs played by Johnny “H”.   Have a dance or just enjoy the music and wave your flag;  chat to old and new friends and all-in-all enjoy a relaxing afternoon.

The Town Mayor’s Quiz With A Difference

Thursday 29th April

The Town Mayor of Banbury, Councillor Tina Wren, invites you to be brave enough to sample a Quiz With A Difference, under the direction of Terry Andrews, raising money for the Banbury & District MS Society.

This will not be the usual Brains of Britain quiz but one where your ears will be tested, your taste buds made to work, your eyes opened and nasal passages brought to life and like any quiz it will also activate your brain.  Quizmaster Terry Andrews and wife Debby will aim to make this an evening that will not only test you but also entertain.  Join them, the Town Mayor and Cllr Ann Bonner, President of the Banbury MS Society for a night with a difference.  Places are limited so please book your team now! Cost for a team is just £20 for 4 people. There will also be a raffle.
