Publisher/Editor- since the beginning. For my sins I worked as a tabloid photographer on Fleet Street (when it was still Fleet Street) Did a five year stretch and returned to my home town - the best town in the country- Banbury. I started the magazine and originally called it Banbury Fare - people confused it with the Michaelmas Fair however, so I changed the title to Four Shires - reflecting the area we circulate in. I like photographs - pictures - are what make the magazine a little bit different.
I Am Here to:
Make a small difference I hope! I believe in as many people having the opportunity to have as much fun as possible in life.
I work at the Four Shires Because:
I like doing so. I like Marmite crisps and at the moment Maltesers are resurgent. I like my car - it's a ‘Q' car - it looks like a standard old BMW but it has a disproportionately large engine. It's rear wheel drive, so it drifts. I like motorcycles and pretty women - that's why I like Kate. I like seeing my nippers do well and at the moment I like ‘One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest'. I have always liked ‘Father Ted' and ‘Young Frankenstein' - ‘Fawlty Towers' is great too.
I Dislike:
Broad beans When I grow up I hope to be fit enough to circumnavigate the world on my motorcycle.

Accounts, subscriptions and general run around - I have been here from day one.
I Am Here to:
Help and answer queries wherever I can
I Believe:
All the parking spaces fill up just before I drive into town! I also believe there are fairies -who else keeps hiding my car keys when I want them. Life is for living - Go for it as time flies!
I Work at the Four Shires because:
It is a fantastic quality magazine of which I am very proud to be a part of.
I Like:
Swimming or going stomping with the kids & dogs, especially out in the snow. ‘ Movies and munchies' curled up on the sofa with the children, Good food and a glass of wine with friends, Oh! and work of course.
I Dislike:
Dark nights & rainy days ( bring on the frosts, or long balmy summer evenings)
When I Grow Up I Hope to be:
Fit, healthy and able to have lots of fun. Boring I know, but a must.

I Work at the Four Shires because:
I love to meet new interesting people, I love working as a team and due to the nature of working for a family business, no two days are the same in our office!

I am here to: Annoy mainly I think! No I am here to organise and layout the magazine, without breaking too many things! I am the clumsiest member of the team!
I believe: That dragons really do exist and also in fait, not necessarily at the same time however! Also that the Four Shies magazine is the best in the area. It is independently run, friendly and always happy to receive good, local stories.
I work at the Four Shires because: every day is different and it doesn't feel like a job, but more a passion.
I like: too many things but to name just a few: - writing, poetry, stories and song lyrics, good design, bad design (you can learn so much from it), illustration, making stuff, films (I graduated from a film and video degree) and driving- I recently realised a lifelong dream and took part in a rally thrill experience, thanks to my gorgeous Husband Crian (who is often mistaken for Wolverine due to his remarkable beard).
I dislike: Bad drivers, strawberries and dishonest people (I am far to honest for my own good! - hence my quote in the school year book ‘Keep putting your foot in it'!)
When I grow up I hope to be: A superhero, with an over the top outfit, jet pack and the power of telekinesis, who rides around on a dragon called Cuddles with a chimp sidekick! Failing that a family will do me nicely!
