Aylesbury Waterside Theatre and First Family Entertainment are thrilled to announce that Michelle Collins will star in this year’s dazzling family pantomime –Aladdin 09 – 31 Dec.

Michelle Collins, best known for her iconic roles in Eastenders and Coronation Street, will be making wishes come true by bringing all the magic of the Christmas season to life as the Genie of the Ring in Aylesbury’s much loved annual panto.

Michelle says: ‘I love panto, and Aladdin has to be one of my absolute favourites! It’s the very best festive tradition where all of the family can come together to enjoy some good old fashioned fun and I hear that audiences in Aylesbury really go all-out to join in the silliness, so I’m really looking forward to spending time with you this Christmas!’

Remember, this is Aladdin, and that means that your 3 wishes are the Genie’s command! How about Aylesbury’s favourite rib-tickling comedian? A beautiful princess? An award-winning Dame?  Your wishes might be about to come true…!

Back by popular demand, panto fave and Bucks’ very own funny man Andy Collins will join Michelle for his 6th year at the Waterside bringing his hugely popular hilarity to the stage as Aladdin’s cheeky and mischievous brother Wishee-Washee.

From Shakespeare to Stand Up, Clubland to Cabaret, MTV to CITV, Andy has done it all and says of his return to pantoland: ‘‘I can’t imagine Christmas without panto and I’m so happy to be back once again at my local venue. I just love the Waterside, and can’t wait to bring our special kind of fun to such fabulous audiences once more.  Get ready people this year is going to be even bigger and better than before… Oh Yes it is!’ I refuse to be upstaged by a flying carpet!’

Making her panto debut as her princess namesake is stunning TOWIE beauty Jasmin Walia who’s looking forward to bringing magic, sparkle and a whole lot of glamour to Aylesbury this Christmas.

Not to be outdone on the glamour stakes and making up this perfect panto trio, prepare yourselves for larger than life ‘Dame Extraordinaire’ Britain’s Got Talent’s La Voix bursting onto stage as Aladdin’s long suffering mum, Widow Twankey.

With Genies by the lamp-load, belly busting comedy, chart topping songs, bags of audience participation, panto-lands biggest boo-able baddie and maybe, just maybe a real flying carpet this is sure to be the panto that makes all of your wishes come true
