Return, refund, cancellation and minimum age policy

By purchasing a subscription to the Four Shires Magazine, the recipient is agreeing to either a 6 or 12 month run (Customers must make sure they purchase the correct length for their needs). Four Shires Ltd will not refund any money for those wishing to cancel a subscription part way through, those who have incorrectly purchased or those who have duplicated a gift subscription. It is the responsibility of the customer to check that gift recipients are not already holders of a Four Shires subscription before purchase. (Remaining months of a subscription can be forwarded to an alternative address).

Returns can only be made if a faulty copy has been sent to you, for which The Four Shires Magazine will resend the issue out as soon as they can. The Four Shires Magazine cannot take responsibility for any magazines damaged during transaction via Royal Mail.

Whilst there is no minimum age for purchasing a subscription to The Four Shires Magazine, it is asked that those buying have permission, from the bill payer, to use the card before continuing.

Delivery Policy:

We deliver to you or your gift recipient preferred address as provided by you. Delivery charge is included in the cost of the online price. Once your 6 or 12 month subscription has been purchased via www.fourshires.co.uk then your first issue will be the next available magazine and will be posted out upon publication, unless an alternative start date has been requested. The Four Shires magazine is published monthly, and comes out, generally, during the last week of the month. We deliver worldwide using carrier Royal Mail.

Prices: The list of products and their prices on this site are updated annually, whilst we aim to have all the past magazines in stock sometimes this is not possible so for requesting past issues please contact our office directly. (01295 273138)

Orders: Please use our online shop to place your order. Alternatively you may contact our offices directly and order by telephone (01295 273138) or email your order to with your contact details for us to ring and take payment.

Substitution: Orders of past issues of Four Shires are accepted subject to stock remaining. If we are unable to fulfil your order we will endeavour to inform you. Please advise us if this is not acceptable.
